Art Ideas - Grades 6/7

Confused? Watch this:

Welcome to your arts page, where you will find information regarding your projects!

The rubric for our projects is VERY open, as you can see on the bottom of the page!

All I ask is that you do your best on your piece and write a short reflection explaining your choices.

You are expected to do only about an hour of work every week on art and drama -- please don't get overwhelmed. If you do three hours one week, that can also count for future weeks. There is no penalty for following your mojo!

1. Step one: Learn about your project!

Project 1:

Here is one idea for a project -- a lemonade project!!

To get started, watch the video below:

Now, think -- what could you create that would make the lives of people around you brighter and more fun?

Your art can make a difference! How would you go about making it pop?Even better -- is there a way to put your art visible from the outside?

Use the Art Raft in order to plan your lemonade project better!

Project 2:

Here is another idea for a project!

Make sure to watch the colour video on the bottom of this page to get started.

Then, click below to see the Animal Zentangle page:

2. Step two: Choose a material!

So, you have an idea of a project to make things better and are excited to start? Here are some ideas for materials you can use! Any of the materials below could be fun and exciting on their own. These materials can also fuel ideas for a lemonade project all on their own!
